Hexmetal (Hexmesh or hexsteel) is used in the petrochemical, oil, cement and various other industries. This honeycombed shaped steel is designed to reinforce thin wall refractories and provide long lasting results.

The main style of HESLY Hex Mesh

| Hexmetal: Bonding Hole Type Instead of lance tabs, holes are punched through the walls of the hexmetal cell. Refractory can then flow through these holes to achieve a bond from one cell to another. | Hexmetal: Pronges/Lances Type this style has lance tabs protruding from the walls of the hexagonal cell to act as anchorage for the refractory. |
Application of HESLY Hexmetal:
Hexmetal is flexible and easily conforms to circular shapes, which allows it to be rolled. It is ideal for lining ducts, furnaces, reactor vessels, cyclones, flue gas lines and other high temperature equipment of virtually any shape or configuration.
Hex steel is put to use in many industries including power plants, chemical industry, cement plants, steel, petroleum, power generation and other large devices. Hex material can largely improve the heat erosion and abrasion resistance.
